Can you take regular leave in conjunction with convalescent/maternity leave?

I've checked AR 600-8-10 but it wasn't clear. Does anyone know from personal experience? My Commander will authorize 42 days of con leave after I deliever next month but I was hoping to take an additional 2 weeks of my own leave (I've been saving up) in conjunction with it. Is this doable or not? I don't think the branch matter since we're all military but I'm Army in case it does. Thanks guys!
