Im a 27yr old mom of 2 and me and my husband have been trying to have another baby for a lil over a yr,?

i have just recently found out that im not ovulating,i have been placed on clomid,first mth was 50mg this month 100mg.does anyone know anything about clomid and does it work? im not getting any younger and i didnt want my kids 2 be this far apart so anyone with any advice i'd greatly appreciate it.
