I cant go because of my period?

Ok well this weekend I was going to go to busch gardens (a theme park) with my friend Maddie , my friend Lucas and my boyfriend Alex! And now I can't go because I have my period! I wear tampons but we are problay going to be their longer then 8 hours and I have no where to put a tampon!!! I'm not bringing a bag because we will we will be goin on rides and I don't want it to get stolen and idk what to do! And I can't put it in my pocket because I'm going to be taking off my shorts to go on water rides! I really want to go!! Please help
