How to fill my tackle box?

I'm somewhat of a beginner fisherman and so my tackle box is quite empty. I'm just interested about the basics of what to fill the box with such as a first-aid kit or certain kinds of weights. As far as lures go please just tell me the broadest grouping. For example, jigs, plugs, flies, or even rapalas. Thanks for the help!
