Did Survivor change a few things?

Didn't they usually do two challenges per show? Seems like I remember them doing one challenge for gifts of fire, food, or whatever. Then the second challenge at the end was for immunity. I only saw them do one tonight. The colored blocks thing for immunity. Foa Foa has lost three in a row now. Geez they're bad.
