How can I get my husband to let our daughter be baptized?

My husband and I had a 9 month old daughter. I really want to get her baptized on Easter but there is one problem. I have a religious background and he doesn't. I'm not trying to force my views upon him or force our daughter to be a Christian but I would like the security of knowing if something happens that she is blessed. He is a strong hearted stubborn atheist. I am not a devout christian but that doesn't mean I don't believe there is something out there. So my question is how can I convince him to let her be baptized or a tleast consider it?
