How to get my rabbit to come to me in the garden?

My two rabbits are quite tame one more so than the other (the female is the friendliest).I am planning on making them house rabbits very soon, my male rabbit is neutered, and im getting my female spayed very soon. To put my female rabbit back in her hutch is a night mare, she doesn't like being picked up so i don't do it. My male rabbit will go back to his hutch every 5 minutes or something but the female will stay out until it gets dark and dangerous. Also she always lets me stroke her in the house and her hutch, but when she is in the garden she will come up to me but not let me touch her, why is this??
