Starting a career in Networking?

I'm 19 as well, and i'm currently enrolled in a community college for Network Administration. I also plan to start a career in Networking. I'm not sure where you live, but I live in Southeast Missouri, and there is not much around here for stuff like that. I haven't graduated so I'm not really sure what i"m going to do. Sorry I couldn't help very much, but maybe it will help to know that someone else is going through the same situation.
